Welcome

Mary's wall quilts usually evoke a feeling or hint at a story. This kind of fabric art is made of three layers....a top design that is pieced together, cotton batting in the middle, and a cotton backing. The quilting enhances the design and adds dimensional texture, so the viewer is invited in to touch the quilt as part of experiencing it.

Mary uses commercial and hand-dyed fabric, lots of thread and assorted embellishments to express an idea or emotion caught in time. Her quilts have been exhibited nationally at quilt shows and art venues.
